But I want to blog in Ireland IF I have an internet connection.

And my mother's day gift of a Polarizing Filter just came (I CAN'T wait to use it)

And well....I need to blog about some stuff and shit, do I need to buy a end of year gift for the pre-school teachers? I have no idea.

AND bonus: Every single post I ever wrote, here, at Bring Me Mia and the inbetween Bring ME Mia.

36* now with retail therapy

Welcome to 36.

You will be PMS, have 4 new pounds of bloat and start to cry and yell at your kids, explaining it is MOMMYS Birthday so there will be NO WHINING, before 8am.
You will cram 6 munchkins in your mouth within 6 minutes due to PMS and desperate need for sugar to help you start your day. Along with one of those jumbo coffee things from Dunkin Donuts. Because you were soo desperate not to make coffee, you decided driving the 1/2 hour round trip to the DD drive thru was completely worth it, so were the dozen munchkins. (the girls ate 6)

You will have no desire to do anything but lay in bed. Which you can't cause you have 2 almost 3 year olds who don't want to lay in bed all day.

Your husband will be away on a business trip, with the excuse he will be home at 4 to take you to dinner and while you thought he would be home for dinner, that might not happen, so figure it out and cook your own damn dinner. (seriously, NO ONE should have to cook on their own b-day). I can't get take out cause I can't get the food and the girls in and out of a restaurant.

I hate 36 already.

In 3 weeks we will be in Kilarney Ireland.

*and yes, I know I am not suppose to be blogging, but fuck that, it is my blog. I can do what I want. And today, I am not feeling it.
**also, I actually have made some progress on my new site. Just need my friend to upload stuff and then my other friend to design it...I hope we can get it moving/moved soon.

I never ever ever go to the mall with the girls. It just isn't something we do. The girls have to be in their stroller cause I don't want them wondering and touching stuff and because well, I don't really shop in stores except target much anymore (unless I am in CT otherwise I go to small shops near the house not the mall). So the girls needed backpacks for ireland, hello kitty of course. We got those. Then I went to WIlliams Sonoma, where I purchased all the kitchen stuff I have been saying I wanted since Christmas. A new cookie sheet (for peppers and potatoes) 2 new sets of dish cloth and tea towels/oven mitt and a new microplane cheese grater. Then out for pizza with my girls...I feel better already.

next stop

Well....my friend, FINALLY agreed to open up a new shop for me at my own URL, hosted by me, and then I can have someone design it for me and I can try to find myself. I have lost my way on this blog and having a new blog with more control. A space for photography. A place for the girls. A place for me.

Right now I just feel I have lost my direction. I don't know who I am, what my purpose is and why I even document stuff here. Well, I document stuff here because I can look back and feel how the girls were. But that has changed and I don't write as much about the girls because I never intended this blog to be a mommy blog. But it is.

Also, I never put any effort into this blog. It was always a jumble of random thoughts.

As Karen said, I need to archive this. I have my old archives from Bring Me Mia...over 700 posts. I have over 900 here. That is a lot.

I have no idea what i will do with all this stuff right now.

But I will probably be just posting pictures here until I can open up a new shop. A new fresh start, for me turning 36, for my girls turning 3 and for my marriage of 12 years. How Ironic is it that the girls age x our years married is my age? WEIRD.

Anyway, I don't know what the future holds but I will figure it out over the next few weeks and you will know....eventually as well.

And YES, I am a complete bitchy drama queen. I completely go by emotion but moving to me feels right. Recently my friend C did it and I can read in her new blog she needed a fresh start.

things that doesn't suck

On of my favorite bloggers, well she does this.

And I think, that since I have been bitching mostly on this blog for a month, which I know is not fun.

Anyway, the thing that doesn't suck today is take out. I have been cooking and cooking and I am soo burnt out on going to the grocery store and well..I am in need of a break from cooking. Conor skipped soccer today and we did yard work for ages after going to the garden store (which no one was there, it was awful and weird and quiet, we like local business to be busy). IT was all of the sudden noon and everyone was instantly ravenous from being outside. I ordered from our favorite pizza place about 1 mile down the road and we had yummy pizza and salad. It was fresh and good and I didn't have to cook it!

Tonight Conor suggested heading out to dinner to chinese, which is always my suggestion but I slept for almost 2 hours during the day and really am not up for eating out. So, he said another place which totally has steak take out (sounds gross, it is freaking delish) and chicken quesadilla for the girls.

Lastly, the girls were AMAZING today. Used their rakes, played with their lawnmowers  and shovels and watering cans. Helped me plant (some plants were ruined but we bought a flat just in case) We planted a new arborvitae on the corner of the house to match the other one on the corner of the house. We transplanted another bush thing that we hate but until we have fortunes can't afford to replace all the bushes because we need to fill in an area we cleared with all new bushes which won't be cheap! And we bought new pots for next to the front door for my little trees, which were pricey but man they are GORGEOUS. We accomplished soo much. Now we need to figure out the inside of this house cause it looks like a kids toy dump/consignment shop!

Funny little things

1. We are having fish sticks, pigs in a blanket, instant rice and baked beans for dinner. I am burnt out on cooking and this is what I had in my freezer. The girls think it is the best thing ever.

2. The girls have been on an airplane 5 or 6 times, I think. VN was 4 legs. Then we went to Boston and Ct several times and we head to Canada and  Ireland. The girls are SOOOO excited, they go right into my closet, get their safety seatbelts for the plane and scream AIRPANE SEET BELT!!!!

3. They want to know why Nana is having 2 birthdays in 2 weeks.

4. When Conor asks them, where is Daddy from, They SCREAM, EYE-E-LAN!!!!!

5. When we ask where we are going on the airplane they scream "CNANDADA and EYE-E-LAN!!!"

6. Cammie is now referring to herself as Cammie and to Mia as Mia. No more sissy for her.

7. Mia wants everything perfect. It is super cute.

8. Who would figure that it would be soo hard to go to a big city, Toronto, and get a carservice with carseats. We had to rent a car just to drive in and out of the city....to get carseats.

9. I can't wait for fish sticks and salad.

10. The girls and I had a great morning. Very little mama voice and we all got stuff done...Fun times!

where I get all preachy and shit

My girls have helmets. They are NOT allowed on their bikes, even though they can barely ride them without.

The reason, cause too much SHIT happens.

I am a HUGE fan of Liam Neeson. Seriously folks, he is an old dude and still on my top 5 list. My Conor is from Dublin, same place as Liam Neeson. I love me some Irish. I used to love Colin Farrel but only in the Balley Kiss Angel time, not now. But I Love Gabriel Burn. Doesn't matter light or Dark I am an Irish girl.

After Natasha Richardson Died, I yelled to Conor, do you know why our girls wear helmets....he yelled back, CAUSE WE AIN'T STUPID.

I used to ski. I used to ski ALOT. In New England. On all kinds of hills. I HATE IT. I know how to. I took lessons. My parents were big skiers. I did love it when I was little. But I tore my knee up and had it fixed and refuse to ski. And even if I did ski, or Conor did ski (which conor loves to ski, he skied Calgary and all over) we would ski in helmets.

I remember going down a black diamond hill. No holds barred. If I fell I would have been injured. You have to protect yourself and your kids.

My girls ride their kettrik bikes one the driveway. They are constantly ramming into one another. THey fight on their bikes. They run into the fences. THEY know they have to have their helmet on. It isn't like when I was a kid and a shame, it is an awesome fact that they want to be careful.

I recommend everyone buy their kids a helmet, they are 20 bucks at REI or target, they are adjustable and they can wear them ages.....I mourn with poor Liam Neeson and his kids...45 is too young.
